It takes a mere moment to cast a ballot but the preparations that enable that moment are years in the making.
The October 6 Provincial General Election offered an unprecedented number of accesssible voting opportunities for Ontarians. With the success and lessons of the past election in mind, we've turned our thoughts to preparation for the next election and, as well, to the future of electoral innovation in the province.
Elections Ontario has a long history of being a pioneer in improving the electoral process for Ontarians. We remain dedicated to fostering long-term, collaborative relationships to make elections in Ontario as accessible and dynamic as possible. In the months to come we will continue to strengthen an electoral system that is designed around the principle of inclusion and putting your needs first.
